Wager is total amount risked, not net loss. Bet $100 ten times round-trip and you've wagered $1,000 — even if your balance ended where it started. That's why slot grinders and Crash autobetters climb tiers faster than someone who deposits, plays once, and cashes out.
Wagered volume is also cumulative for life. Stake doesn't reset between months or after a withdrawal. You only ever progress forward, which is why dropping a chunk early gets you to Silver in a single session if you grind low-edge games.
Game weighting affects how fast you climb
Originals (Dice, Crash, Limbo) contribute at 1.0x weight to your wagered total. Third-party slots usually weight lower (0.3–0.7x). Sportsbook bets above 2.00 odds contribute fully; bets at 1.10 odds barely contribute at all.
If your goal is fast tier progression: Stake Originals are the fastest path. Lower house edge + full wager weight + low variance = predictable progression.
Bonuses stack on top of level-up bonuses
Hitting a new tier triggers the level-up bonus shown in the table above. But that's just one of four bonus streams:
- Level-up bonus (one-time, when you advance)
- Weekly bonus (every Friday at 00:00 GMT — see current weekly drop)
- Monthly bonus (first week of each month)
- Rakeback / reload (varies by tier)

How many Stake VIP levels are there?
14 tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum I–VI, Diamond I–V.
How much wager to reach Silver on Stake?
$50,000 total wagered. The level-up bonus is $50.
How much wager to reach Platinum?
$250,000 to reach Platinum I. Each subsequent Platinum tier roughly doubles the requirement: Platinum II at $500k, III at $1M, IV at $2.5M, V at $5M, VI at $10M.
What does Diamond VIP get you?
A dedicated VIP host, host-negotiated weekly/monthly bonuses, renewable reloads, and access to private events. Published bonus amounts only apply through Diamond III — Diamond IV and V are individually negotiated.
Do Stake VIP levels expire or reset?
No. Wagered volume and tier status are permanent. Inactive accounts may lose host attention but the tier itself doesn't downgrade.
Can I see my current VIP progress?
Yes — log into Stake, click your username, then "VIP" in the side menu. Stake shows total wagered, current tier, and progress to next. To project remaining wager, use our free wager calculator.
